As Earth Day approaches, Starbucks worldwide has declared this month as GMoG (Global Month of Good), with partners across the globe engaging in various eco-friendly initiatives. Starbucks Taiwan has also launched a series of Earth-loving activities.

In collaboration with the Society of Wilderness this year, from April 3 to April 19, a total of 18 environmental advocacy lectures will be held at stores across Taiwan. Customers are invited to join us in exploring nature, gaining a deeper understanding of the land we inhabit, and reflecting and taking action together with lecturers from the Society of Wilderness to drive change.
Starbucks encourages consumers to start loving the Earth together by bringing their own reusable tumblers.
At the same time, Starbucks also launched a series of products themed around endangered animals in the Taiwanese market on April 10. On Earth Day, April 22, two reusable takeaway cups were introduced as part of the environmental initiative.

Additionally, Starbucks further encourages customers to bring their own tumblers when making purchases, with nearly 300,000 uses of the bring-your-own-cup discount recorded in 2018.

It is estimated that the world uses approximately six hundred billion disposable cups annually. To promote a better environment, Starbucks began selling reusable takeaway cups in the United States, Canada, and the UK in 2014, and has since sold twenty-five million units.
