The “2019 Taipei International Spring Travel Expo” kicked off with a four-day grand opening on March 22 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1.

The New Taipei City Government, themed around the “New Taipei Youthful Mountains and Seas Line,” transformed the popular Shen’ao Railway Bicycle into an exhibition booth. In addition to exclusive expo discounts, customers who spend over a certain amount also have a chance to win round-trip airline tickets to Japan or Korea.
Shi’tou Mountain & Candlestick Islets
The Youthful Mountains and Seas Line is a beautiful coastal corridor in northern Taiwan, featuring alternating capes and bays shaped by peculiar rocks and stones, creating a unique shoreline. The coastline is like a pearl necklace connecting Tamsui to Gongliao, renowned internationally for its scenery, complemented by distinctive local cuisine and culture rich in regional charm.

This expo prominently features the “Shen’ao Railway Bicycle,” located at Badouzi Station along the central line of North Coast attractions. It offers a cycling experience atop the railway tracks where you can enjoy the surrounding mountain and sea views while pedaling.
