Following huge responses in Seoul and Taipei, the third stop of "KAWS:HOLIDAY" officially landed at Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong on March 22!

KAWS, in collaboration with its long-term partner, organizer, and curator AllRightsReserved, once again brings its most iconic work, COMPANION, to Hong Kong. In a brand-new gray tone and a total length of 37 meters in a reclining pose, it is KAWS’ largest-ever public reclining art installation. From the evening of March 22 to March 31, it will be exhibited in Hong Kong’s most iconic location — Victoria Harbour. Visitors can view the artwork up close at the waters off Tamar Park in Admiralty (Central and Western District Promenade – Central Section).
The Hong Kong edition of "KAWS:HOLIDAY" takes place during March’s “Hong Kong Arts Month,” a month filled with various art and cultural events, attracting both local and international art lovers and tourists to slow down and immerse themselves in a relaxed and carefree atmosphere.
To welcome the arrival of KAWS’ largest outdoor art piece, artist KAWS, along with AllRightsReserved Creative Director and Curator SK Lam, Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board Dr. Allan Zeman, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Tourism Board Clement Lau, and CEO of Asia Miles Simon Lee, attended the launch event of the Hong Kong stop of "KAWS:HOLIDAY" on March 22, marking the beginning of the 10-day exhibition in Victoria Harbour.
During the launch event, the giant COMPANION “swam” from the public pier at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai aboard a pilot barge to the waters near Tamar Park in Admiralty. Upon arrival at the exhibition site, the Hong Kong Fire Services Department’s No. 1 firefighting tugboat “Elite” performed a water display to officially kick off the Hong Kong stop of "KAWS:HOLIDAY" !
