The top 100 heartwarming route players are here!“Travel Taiwan. 100 Heartwarming Routes” website’s “Everyone Plays + Drive a Car Home” travelogue and video recording collection campaign, after five months of fierce competition, has recently closed for submissions. During the campaign period, nearly 9,000 netizens were called upon to participate in submissions online, accumulating over 15,000 shared works, with total page views surpassing 680,000.

Deputy Director Xie Weijun of the Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications stated: In order to ensure the top 100 travel routes are filled with a diverse range of heartwarming elements, starting from early July this year, in coordination with the “Travel Taiwan. 100 Heartwarming Routes” website’s launch of the top 100 travel routes, the special “Everyone Plays + Drive a Car Home” travelogue and video recording collection campaign was specially organized. The aim is to attract netizens from all over the country to step outdoors, share their personal heartwarming travel experiences along the top 100 travel routes across ten major themes, through valuable prizes including a Volkswagen POLO car worth NT$800,000 and travel reward grants of tens of thousands, with a total prize pool exceeding NT$1 million. It also hopes to harness the power of the website’s community to make the content of the top 100 travel routes more comprehensive and more aligned with local identity.
To help players better plan their time to explore the top 100 travel routes, the lottery event has set a particularly long collection period of five months. Additionally, to encourage expert-level players to continuously share their heartfelt experiences online, the activity stipulates that only the top 200 players who have accumulated the most heartwarming sharing records are eligible to become the lucky winners of the POLO car. Therefore, it is believed that today’s car winner is truly a PRO-level player.

The “Travel Taiwan. 100 Heartwarming Routes” website team stated: On the first day the campaign went live, 700 submissions poured in, and in the three days leading up to the submission deadline, over 3,000 travelogues and photos were submitted. Finally, on December 10th, the list for the car lottery was confirmed. To catch the last chance at the car lottery, participants had to contribute at least around 30 qualifying heartwarming travel photos for the top 100 travel routes during the campaign period to be eligible to win the car.
