Located in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, “Hitachi Seaside Park” spans a total area of 200 hectares where daffodils, tulips, and nemophila bloom successively from late March to mid-May. Among them, when the nemophila is in full bloom, up to 4.5 million nemophila flowers planted in the park burst into color simultaneously, transforming the Mishōhō Hill area into a light blue expanse. The sky, sea, and hills merge into one, creating a stunning panoramic view that draws visitors from all over.

Located about an hour’s drive from Tokyo in Tatebayashi City, Gunma Prefecture, “Tobu Treasure Garden” features over 4,000 types of flowers, with colorful blooms appearing successively in each season. The best time to see nemophila is from early April to early May. Visitors can not only admire the blue sea of flowers in the “Four Seasons Garden,” but also enjoy European-style cuisine made with herbs grown in the park at the Victorian-style Victoria House, satisfying both the eyes and the taste buds.

Located in Tachikawa City, Tokyo Metropolis, “Showa Memorial Park” was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Emperor Showa’s reign. Covering an area 39 times the size of Tokyo Dome, it is currently one of the largest parks in Tokyo. The hill near Momiji Bridge is the best spot to view nemophila, with the optimal blooming period being from late April to May each year. In addition, the park features recreational facilities such as a barbecue area, indoor soccer field, and dog park, making it especially popular among family visitors.
