No mistake — you can actually visit an exhibition in entertainment-filled Macau for free. The visual effects show at the Sky Theater in Macau’s Studio City really is complimentary. The Sky Theater is the world’s largest dome-shaped multipurpose theater equipped with a multitude of special effects. With an investment of about 40 million USD, it now presents the 360-degree dynamic audiovisual show “Dragon Soar,” which offers a fantastical sensory journey that makes audiences feel as if they’re submerged underwater, traveling through the domains of four Dragon Kings.
The ten-minute-long “Dragon Soar” utilizes more than 29,000 theatrical LED lights to create a brand-new visual spectacle. Combined with a unique musical theater format, it takes audiences into the Zodiac Fortune Wheel and weaves them into the story of four Dragon Kings traversing glaciers, tropical rainforests, volcanoes, and the solar system, all working together to protect the Dragon Pearl. No matter where you stand, you’ll experience distinct “Dragon Luck” effects, being greeted by showers of coins and dazzling fireworks, bringing your future fortune soaring like a dragon in flight.
To visit the “Sky Theater” for the show, the venue is located on the 3rd floor inside the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Studio City. Visitors simply need to pick up a reservation voucher in advance to gain free entry. If you’re staying at one of the hotels within Studio City, you can get a priority entry ticket from the front desk to reduce waiting time.
