In this festive December filled with Christmas spirit, the luxurious MGM Grand Resort perched by the Nam Van Lake on the Macau Peninsula, adorned with silver-white decorations and a towering 30-ton Christmas tree in the center of the square, officially ushers visitors into a fairytale-like “MGM Macau Magical Christmas” until December 25. Daily at Sky Plaza, two free and spectacular figure skating shows will be performed: from Monday to Friday at 6pm and 8pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays at 3pm and 8pm, each show lasting 20 minutes. The event will feature five-time Australian Figure Skating Champion Andrew Bassi, internationally renowned singer and skater Richard Laidlaw, along with other dance stars who will present graceful and agile figure skating performances set to melodious music, as well as take photos with guests.

Additionally, various weekend entertainment programs are specially prepared, such as “Christmas Carol Performances” and “Christmas Magic & Clown Shows”; on December 11, famous Hong Kong celebrity Eliza Sam will perform at the venue, while host Bob (Lam Shing-bun) will serve as the MC, sharing MGM’s winter wishes together.
Furthermore, a special Christmas Charity Photo Zone is set up in the plaza to send warm Christmas greetings to children from the Coordinated Special School. Donations starting from MOP20 (no upper limit) can get you a photo voucher to take pictures with Santa Claus or ballet dancers, allowing the public and tourists visiting the venue to contribute to charity during the holidays while also creating wonderful memories.

During the event period, several specialty restaurants at MGM also offer a variety of festive delicacies, including the “Le Restaurant” French restaurant serving traditional French cuisine, which presents a Christmas Seafood Brunch Feast featuring its renowned seafood platter as the highlight, along with multiple main courses and over ten dessert options; the Austrian pastry chef Günther Wolfsgruber from MGM Café also meticulously prepares a range of exquisite Christmas treats, including gingerbread, chocolates, roast turkey, glazed ham, and other festive specialties.
