Boulaoyue Hot Spring is located in Xinfā Village, Liùguì District, 14 kilometers south of Liùguì and 6 kilometers north of Bǎolái. It originally became known when a small stream emerged from the earth with hot water. The water was crystal clear, free of the smell of sulfur, and left the skin feeling smooth after bathing—like turning back the clock on aging—so the stream was named Boulaoyue Stream. Today, the Boulaoyue Hot Spring Area is home to many hot spring resorts, where visitors can soak in the springs while enjoying the embrace of nature.
