On summer nights when the heat subsides, many cultural venues and parks have extended their hours or launched events and promotions to attract evening visitors. Kaohsiung’s Shoushan Zoo has extended its opening hours to 21:00 every Saturday and Sunday starting now, and is offering half-price “Starlight Tickets,” with children under 12 also admitted for free. During the event period, the zoo is also hosting Adventure Time-themed activities and talent performance competitions, allowing families to enjoy nighttime outings together.

The “Who Leads the Summer Adventure in Adventure Time?” series runs from now until August 31. All children visiting the zoo can pick up a limited-edition event participation form at the service desk at the entrance. By finding fun and unique animal behavior signs around the park and spotting characters from the “Adventure Time” cartoon—like the goofy Finn, the cool Jake, Princess Bubblegum, and Marceline—they can exchange correct answers at the service desk for a DIY Adventure Time emoji signboard. Lucky winners will also be drawn to receive exclusive Adventure Time giveaways.
Tonight (21st) at 19:00, a kindergarten talent show competition will be held in the park. In addition to enjoying the wonderful performances by the kids, visitors can also cool off at the water play square on summer evenings. Moreover, those holding a Shoushan Zoo ticket can enjoy discounted tickets or special offers at designated locations for attractions such as the Chengcing Lake Scenic Area, Chengcing Lake Marine Life Park, Wild West Indoor Playground, and Riverside Dining within a specified period.
