Taipei City’s Department of Commerce has recommended seven must-buy Taipei gifts based on the city’s history, culture, and urban development—“pineapple cake, mooncake, dried meat, coffee, tea, trendy T-shirt, and fabric bag.” From now until September 14, they are launching the “Online Vote for Gifts & Triple Rewards” campaign. Simply log in to the official event website using your Facebook account to vote, and you can download store coupons and enter the lucky draw for a chance to win gift vouchers worth up to NT$30,000.

For this “Taipei Best Gift Shops” online vote, all you need to do is log in to the Taipei Gift Official Website—the Taipei Gift Shop Vote—via your FB account or EMAIL to cast your vote. Online voting comes with triple rewards: First reward—vote to get discounts: Complete voting for all seven recommended gift shops online, and you can download discount coupons (ranging from 7% to 9% off) offered by the shops you voted for. Second reward—vote and win gifts: After the voting period, 10 winners will be drawn from each of the seven categories, totaling 70 winners who will each receive a product from a participating shop in that category. Third reward—snap and win the grand prize: Show the coupon obtained from voting at the designated shop, take a photo with your purchased item in-store, and upload it to the “Charming Taipei. Featured Districts” Facebook event page. One lucky voter will be selected to win a joint gift voucher worth NT$30,000 from Taipei’s Top 100 Gift Shops.
In addition, showing your Taipei Shopping Card at participating shops also grants you the same voting benefits. The public can download the card design via mobile phone from the Taipei Shopping Feast official website or collect a physical card at Lion Travel’s North, North, and Keelung branches.
