From now on, take the high-speed rail and use mobile check-in to enter a chance to win big prizes

Taiwan High Speed Rail reports that over 669,000 people have downloaded the “Taiwan High Speed Rail T Express” app. To encourage passengers to use its mobile quick-ticketing and check-in service, from now until November 18, passengers who complete their journey using this service and register their ticket number online will be eligible to enter a lucky draw. Prizes including smartphones and one-day tours via the Taiwan High Speed Rail Holiday packages will be awarded every week during the campaign period.

The current lucky draw event adopts a cumulative format. Passengers who are not selected in a given week can continue to participate, and the list of winners will be announced on the event webpage every Monday throughout the campaign period. Prizes include smartphones, one-day tours to Sun Moon Lake via the Taiwan High Speed Rail Holiday package, and free ride vouchers for standard class reserved seats on the high-speed rail. Each mobile ticket can be registered once only, but mobile tickets for the “Taipei–Banqiao” section are not eligible for the draw.

 

According to statistics from Taiwan High Speed Rail, in 2012, an average of about 4,450 tickets were booked daily through the “Taiwan High Speed Rail T Express,” with around 1,400 passengers directly entering stations using their phones.,Passengers can freely install the app and use their phones to complete seat reservation, payment, and ticket retrieval in one go. They can then use a QR code to enter the station and board the train directly. The app also allows users to check the latest train timetables and information on services and promotions.
