The southern Taiwan New Year’s Eve highlight “2013 Taiwan No. 1 – Yizhong” Yizhong World New Year’s Eve Gala will kick off on December 31. The gala will be jointly hosted by Hu Gua, Tian Xin, and Ou Han Sheng, and will feature Soda Green as countdown performers, along with Taiwanese electronic music diva Jolin Tsai, as well as musical talents Wei Li An, Yan Jue, and Nicky Wu. Other performers joining the lineup include internet sensations Annie Chen, healing vocals singer Lin Fan, Afu, MP Magic Power, Yoga Lin, Lee Sheng Chieh, Taiwanese pop princess Sun Shu Mei, Xiaopang, Qingchen Electric, and Mowangbang members Lin Jun Yi, Yang Da, Jian Yu Hui, and Da Kai. There will also be a special show by Eelin Models.

To welcome 2013, Yizhong Amusement World will extend its operating hours to 7:30 PM on the day. It will also launch a New Year’s Eve package, “Glow-in-the-Dark Parade Dinner” for NT$299, as well as a “Watch the Show & Dinner” package for NT$550, which includes one theater ticket and a set meal. To coincide with the Yizhong World fireworks display, the Yizhong Ferris Wheel is offering 35 limited-edition New Year’s Eve cabins at NT$3,999 each. The wheel will run two rounds that night, and advance buyers will receive six pairs of Magic Starlight Glasses for free. Additionally, Yizhong buffet restaurant’s dinner service will start earlier at 4:30 PM, with the banquet hall opening simultaneously. Tian Yue Café will also extend its hours until 3:00 AM on January 1, live streaming the Yizhong World New Year’s Eve Gala so visitors can enjoy delicious food while soaking in the festive atmosphere of the event.

Additionally, the Crown Ballroom on the second floor and the Yizhong International Ballroom on the eighth floor of the Crowne Plaza Kaohsiung will host a “New Year’s Eve Countdown Buffet Dinner Party.” The Italian restaurant and Xingya Bar will also offer unlimited drinks for their respective New Year’s Eve late-night events, priced at NT$388 and NT$899 per person respectively.
Capitalizing on the popularity of the New Year’s Eve fireworks, Yizhong World Outlet Mall will run a promotional campaign from December 7 to January 6, 2013, during its anniversary celebration. In addition to Outlet prices, the mall will launch a “Take the High-Speed Rail, It’s Worth It – Up to Full Refund” scratch card event. With a high-speed rail ticket and a receipt from the day, visitors can participate in an instant-win, 100% winning chance promotion, with a maximum reward of NT$3,000. On New Year’s Eve, December 31, the Yizhong World Outlet Mall Food Court will also extend its service hours until 1:00 AM.
