The yellow duck, which made headlines last week for an unexpected burst, unexpectedly deflated again last night without warning. The yellow duck from Kaohsiung, which showed up in solidarity and took over the display in Taoyuan, was originally scheduled to deflate at 5:00 this morning for submersion work, but at 21:50 last night, it stopped inflating due to the blower ceasing operation and thus ended its shift early. As for when the yellow duck will be exhibited again, it will depend on weather conditions before returning to the pond.

The yellow duck that traveled all the way from Kaohsiung to take over the Taoyuan Land Art Festival showed up onshore and was inflated for display the day before yesterday (November 2). However, Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman insisted that the duck should be displayed in water, so the original plan was to move it back to the pond at 16:00 yesterday (November 3), but due to strong winds in Xinyi, the move was postponed until 5:00 this morning. However, at 21:50 last night, the yellow duck gradually deflated due to the blower stopping operation and ended its shift early. The date for its re-exhibition will be decided based on weather conditions. Other exhibition areas of the Taoyuan Land Square Art Festival remain open as usual.
