The free-entry special exhibition "DISCO "VERY"" running from now until April 22 at Pier-2 C4 Warehouse in Kaohsiung invites 20 domestic and international artists from Taiwan, France, South Korea, and Ukraine to explore the interrelationships between human civilization, the environment, and ecology through their art.

Environmental changes often lead to various natural disasters and risks, while man-made life risks arising from technological and civilizational development—such as nuclear crises, oil spills, and urban development—also have an unimaginable impact on the environment and ecology of human society. This exhibition invites 20 artists from northern, central, southern, and eastern Taiwan as well as abroad who have long been concerned with environmental issues. They explore these themes through three thematic sections: "Extraordinary Ecology vs. Real Responses," "Tales of Nature," and "Local Environments." Through 60 spatial installations, photographs, graphic paintings, and other artworks, they reshape new perspectives on the relationship between human society and environmental ecology through the lens and interpretation of art.

"DISCO "VERY"" is a Chinese translation derived from breaking down the English word "discovery." The original word means "to explore," and through rearrangement, it forms the two words "very" and "disco." This exhibition symbolizes a stage that blends natural ecology with industrial and technological colors. By imagining the boundless rhythms of disco music, it embodies a very disco attitude that highlights the freedom and boundlessness of contemporary art.
In addition, lectures and events such as the Morakot Photography Series Discussion, an engaging guided tour of "DISCO "VERY"", and a workshop on performance art creation will be held on March 15 and 29, as well as April 12, 13, and 14.
