No need to travel all the way to Japan to experience the romantic scene of Japanese drama protagonists making wishes at a shrine. The friendly bond between Taipei 101 and Tokyo Skytree, two iconic landmarks, is featured at the Taipei International Travel FairThe “SKYTREE Tree of Happiness” commemorative event officially kicked off on November 6th.

During the travel fair, mascots of both landmarks will meet visitors at the event plaza. Especially rare is the first appearance of Miss Skytree in a kimono look in Taiwan.(Mascot appearance schedule: 11/7, 11/8 at 11:30 & 13:30, and 11/9 at 11:30—total of 5 appearances)

This is already the third wave of the friendly activities between Tokyo Skytree and Taipei 101 in 2014. Since launching a popular dual-landmark product line in July this year, in August, Taipei 101 traveled to Tokyo Skytree to exhibit selected works from the “Taipei 101 International Photography Competition,” allowing more locals and tourists to learn about Taipei 101 and through it, discover Taiwan. Then, in November, Tokyo Skytree once again took the opportunity of the travel fair to visit Taiwan and joined hands with Taipei 101 to launch the “Tree of Happiness Wish Activity.”
