Since its launch on the official website in 2005, JAL’s “Guide to Japan” tourism guide webpage has continuously promoted Japan’s unique charm to users from 26 countries and regions around the world who visit the JAL site. This webpage was completely redesigned in March 2014, and a Traditional Chinese version dedicated to Taiwan was launched in October of the same year. The webpage contains a wealth of insightful and detailed travel information, and through its interactive layout, it attracts visitors to explore various aspects of Japan. The site content is regularly updated each month, providing travelers with the latest information about traveling in Japan.

Additionally, Guide to Japan also features other user-friendly interactive elements. For example, maps and event calendars designed around various themes make it easy for Taiwanese users to view tourist spot information; the “Scrapbook” function allows you to save selected items for later browsing; and the “Suki!” (Japanese for “I like it!”) button lets you vote for your favorite spots.

To celebrate the launch of the Taiwan Traditional Chinese version of Guide to Japan, a lottery event is being held from October 30 to December 26, 2014.During this period, simply select your favorite five tourist spots on the Guide to Japan webpage and click the “Suki!” button to qualify for the draw. Prizes include air tickets, iPad Air, VISA Gift Cards for shopping in Japan, and a total of 74 prizes. Everyone is welcome to join in.
