This uniquely themed capsule hotel lets travelers read manga to their heart’s content, making it an experience not to be missed for both travelers and anime enthusiasts.

Manga Art Hotel is located in Tokyo’s old book district — Jimbocho. As a manga-themed capsule hotel, its focus is entirely on manga, boasting a rich and diverse collection that makes it hard for guests to fall asleep.
The balcony inside the hotel is comfortable, clean, and cozy.
Manga Art Hotel is operated by the dot inc. group. Centered around Japanese manga, it aims to provide travelers from all over the world who come to Tokyo with a unique lodging experience through local cultural characteristics, and may even inspire them to fall in love with Japanese manga culture.
Manga is easily accessible throughout the hotel.
The design of Manga Art Capsule Hotel features a two-story building, with the first floor for female guests and the second floor for male guests, housing a total of 35 rooms. The gender-separated floors offer a sense of safety and comfort for female travelers staying alone — a very thoughtful touch.
The gender-based floor separation within the hotel is a very considerate feature for solo female travelers.
The interior space is designed with bookshelves as partitions, placing capsule beds among the shelves. Each capsule is equipped with adjustable lighting, power outlets, Wi-Fi, and other amenities, allowing guests to retreat to their own space after picking their favorite manga and immerse themselves in a sea of comics.
Although it's a capsule hotel, the space and facilities for each bed are very comfortable and well-equipped.
