The “2015 New Taipei City Cherry Blossom Season – Travel with the Blossoms” event has kicked off with great enthusiasm. On January 24, a tea-tasting and cherry blossom hiking activity titled “Shiding Cherry Blossom Tea Gathering” was held at Shiding’s Erge Park. Additionally, for the first time this year, Wulai’s Warriors Square will pilot a night cherry blossom viewing event over two consecutive Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting January 30. Traffic controls will be implemented in both Shiding and Wulai to provide visitors with a more comfortable experience.

→ Additional traffic controls during night cherry blossom viewing:
(1) On January 30 (Fri) and February 6 (Fri), additional traffic control points will be set up at the intersection of Huanshan Road and Hot Spring Street, Lansheng Bridge and Hot Spring Street, as well as Xinfu Road and Waterfall Road. Controls will be in effect from 16:00 to 22:30. Access to Warriors Square will only be allowed via Huanshan Road; entry from Hot Spring Street will not be permitted.
(2) On January 31 (Sat), February 1 (Sun), February 7 (Sat), and February 8 (Sun), additional traffic control points will be established at the intersection of Huanshan Road and Hot Spring Street and Xinfu Road and Waterfall Road. Controls will be in place from 09:00 to 22:30. Access to Warriors Square will only be allowed via Huanshan Road; entry from Hot Spring Street will not be permitted.
