The South Beach, designed in a striking contemporary style, officially began its trial operation in April 2015 and is set to grandly open in September. Blending national historical heritage with modern architecture, the hotel incorporates innovative management concepts and high-tech facilities to deliver an unprecedented accommodation experience for guests.

The South Beach Hotel enjoys a prime location in the heart of Singapore, offering easy access to iconic attractions such as the Merlion, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, and Singapore Flyer. The hotel itself stands out with its environmentally friendly design concept integrated into a heritage structure, resulting in a contemporary and eye-catching exterior.The overall space design was entrusted to the renowned French designer Philippe Starck, who drew inspiration from the “alone togetherness” concept—being close to the city without losing individuality—and aimed to create an H.I.P. (highly individualized and personalized) hotel environment.It combines lifestyle, design aesthetics, and cutting-edge technology so that every guest can enjoy a luxurious and leisurely stay experience without feeling isolated.

The hotel structure incorporates Singapore’s national heritage, the former Army Base Building, and is built with an environmentally friendly design concept to create a one-of-a-kind property. The luxurious hotel features up to 654 spacious rooms, 49 deluxe suites, and two sky observation gardens. Each room emphasizes the fusion of human-centric design and high technology, allowing guests to control amenities such as air conditioning and lighting via mobile devices and apps, offering both convenience and thoughtful service.
