The main line of the Forest Railway operates the following schedules during the Spring Festival (February 19–23) and 228 (February 27–March 1) holidays:
Uphill: (1) 09:00, (3) 10:00 departures from Chiayi Station.
Downhill: (2) 14:00, (6) 15:00 departures from Fenchihu Station.
