STUDIO A and Docomo have collaborated to launch a Japan wireless SIM card, which has been hugely popular since its launch in May, with sales exceeding 30,000 units. Starting now, the provider has announced an additional upgrade to the SIM card, offering not only seven days of unlimited data, but also coupons with discounts of up to 15% off at famous Japanese stores, including drugstore Matsumoto Kiyoshi, electronics retailer BIC CAMERA, department store chain Marui OIOI, and more, plus a 2,500-yen discount on Uber. Additionally, STUDIO A is offering a group purchase deal called “Three-Five Friends, Ten People Group Buy,” where customers who purchase 3, 5, or 10 SIM cards before August 31 can enjoy different discounted prices, with the group purchase discount bringing the price per card down to as low as NT$630.

Additionally, users can also take advantage of Japan’s new 8% tax refund policy. By scanning a designated QR code, they can access a relevant webpage to download virtual discount coupons for various stores, which can be presented at checkout to receive the discount. Each coupon is valid for one use per person, per card, and per store.
