The renowned Taiwan Culinary Exhibition, after a two-year hiatus, is back under the management of the Taiwan Visitors Association. From July 17 to 20, it will grandly take place over four consecutive days at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, with the theme "The Good Food Era." With five major features — the art of food, culinary tools, ingredients, food journeys, and local specialties — along with 16 themed exhibition halls, an assembly of celebrity chefs, over 100 well-known hotels and restaurants, more than 50 types of popular street snacks, and 620 booths, the exhibition highlights Taiwan’s rich local ingredients, diverse dining culture, culinary skills, and food tourism. It is expected to attract over 80,000 visitors, injecting a strong boost into Taiwan’s food industry. Exhibitors will go all out, offering generous tastings of high-end dishes and a variety of attractive promotional deals, which are expected to spark a shopping frenzy.

During the exhibition, in addition to daily performances by master chefs from top-tier restaurants and hotels, discounted meal vouchers from major hotel and catering groups are a must-see highlight for visitors. The “Fu Ga Yi Fang” luxury abalone and seafood trio combo is available at a 28% discount for just NT$99, the lowest price at the venue. At the Fullon Hotel’s Lih Xiang Yuan (salad bar), a four-person light meal sandwich afternoon tea set is only NT$1,588, equivalent to a 60% discount. The Regent Group’s combined dining voucher offers a 62% discount, while The Landis Taipei’s Tian Xiang Lou lunch set and Le Bistro evening set come with 65% and 69% off discount vouchers respectively. The Silks Club’s San Fan Mei Li Hua and Zhou Niu sukiyaki discount vouchers are available at a 67% discount. The Grand Hyatt Taipei’s Beautiful Chinese Restaurant offers a 69% discount for four people, and the lunch seafood buffet is available at NT$980 per person — all hotels are offering highly attractive discount meal vouchers. Food lovers who enjoy dining at high-end hotels can take this opportunity to make great purchases.

Not only are there on-site purchase discounts, but also tasting events.

The Yushi Taiwan Theme Pavilion demonstrates Taiwan’s continuous culinary advancement. In addition to the dishes themselves, the beauty of tableware is also highly valued. Throughout the exhibition period, 40 resident chefs will take turns showcasing their exceptional skills. Foreign chefs such as Chef Yamaguchi Yukio from The Okura Prestige Taipei and Frank Haasnoot from Mandarin Oriental Taipei also present creative dishes on-site.
