A foreign travel website conducted a survey among its readers to rank the world’s most popular travel cities for 2015. The evaluation criteria included local cuisine, culture, friendliness, shopping, and landmark scenery. The results revealed that the world’s favorite travel city is Kyoto, Japan, rich in historical and cultural charm. Coming in second is Charleston, South Carolina, USA, while Bangkok, also a popular destination among Taiwanese travelers, ranked 6th.
