The movie "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) is set to be released by the end of this year, exciting countless Star Wars fans. Disney also announced at its biennial fourth D23 Expo on August 15 that it will build "Star Wars-themed lands" next to its Disneyland parks in California and Florida, bringing iconic film scenes to life for fans.

Disney will construct Star Wars-themed parks next to its existing Disneyland parks in Orlando, Florida, and Anaheim, California. Each park will cover nearly six hectares, making them the largest single-themed areas in Disney’s history. Visitors will not only participate in battles between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance but also get to pilot the "most famous spaceship in the galaxy," the Millennium Falcon, and experience the cantina where rogue smugglers and traders gather.

It has been confirmed that construction of the California Star Wars park will officially begin in 2017, while the start date for the Florida site has yet to be decided.
