The acclaimed Korean BBQ restaurant Shin Mabu Seagull is set to open in Taiwan. With 500 branches globally, its tender grilled meat, irresistible ring-shaped omelet, and delicious bibimbap are all must-try dishes, making it one of the top restaurants many visit in Korea.

 Korea’s Shin Mabu Seagull will open its first Taiwan location in a lane on Yanji Street in Taipei’s East District. All equipment, sauces, and grilling techniques are imported directly from Korea to offer an authentic Korean BBQ experience. Must-try dishes include “Seagull Meat” and the “ring-shaped omelet.” The “Seagull Meat” actually refers to pork diaphragm, also commonly known as dry-pressed meat in Taiwan. Additionally, the staff will prepare the “ring-shaped omelet” in the grooves around the circular grill, using an egg mixture blended with kimchi. It’s not only sweet and fragrant like regular eggs but also has a hint of kimchi’s tangy spice.
