Known as the “Nation’s Ballad Queen,” Ding Dang has lived alone in Taipei for many years, experiencing a wealth of emotions that have left a deep impression on her heart. She is set to release her first lifestyle book, *Ding Dang: The Taipei Life I Fell in Love With*. The book is divided into four chapters, featuring 68 carefully selected mini trips for eating, drinking, playing, and shopping, as well as five styled walking routes, taking readers into her personal record of life in Taipei. The book will be released nationwide in Taiwan on October 1st, in Hong Kong on October 20th, in Macau on October 25th, and in Malaysia and Singapore on October 23rd.

After nine years in Taipei, Ding Dang has become a true Taipei local—riding the MRT, cycling a YouBike, strolling through the city’s alleys, and discovering warm and welcoming spots. She shares places she’s visited personally, staying true to her down-to-earth nature as she opens up about her years in Taipei and her favorite hidden gems, inviting readers into her life story. The book includes routes for romantic dates, must-visit food spots for best friends, beauty tips for budget-conscious girls, and healing solo getaways. Early in her time in Taiwan, she had a “MRT encounter” where a bespectacled, bare-faced Ding Dang was approached by a university student asking for her Facebook. Reflecting on the memory years later, Ding Dang laughed and said, “The MRT can be a place for love encounters too!”

Making her first appearance on the music challenge show *The Masked Singer*, “Black Swan” Ding Dang—who was highly anticipated before the finals—may not have claimed the top prize, but her standout performance left a deep impression on both the audience and judges. Competing alongside music icons gave her invaluable experience. Ding Dang has used her talent to reintroduce herself to the world as a singer who pours her soul into every note. She said, “I’m willing to keep singing for everyone. I’m still that Black Swan who sings with her whole heart.”

Additionally, three celebration book-signing and ticket events titled “I Love You Practice Song – Turns Out You’ve Always Been There” are planned across northern, central, and southern Taiwan, where fans who scored tickets to the concert and book can meet their idol. The Taipei event will be held at Huashan’s large lawn, letting attendees enjoy the book’s charming descriptions of picnicking and listening to music in the grass.
