To promote tourism in Taiwan, the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications and Taiwan Railways have jointly launched the “Oh Bear Train” campaign, which kicked off on the 2nd. Every day, the adorable Chief Oh Bear will randomly appear in Taiwan Railways’ local train carriages to keep everyone company while they ride the train and enjoy lunchboxes!

Chief Oh Bear, who works for the “Super Mission Unit” of the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, often rides a bicycle through mountains and seas to promote Taiwan’s tourism and is deeply loved by both children and adults. This time, in collaboration with Taiwan Railways, the one-year “Oh Bear Train” campaign not only features the original Oh Bear-themed external livery train, but also introduces an exclusive Oh Bear Taiwan Railways train. A life-sized Chief Oh Bear will sit in the seats and keep passengers company while they enjoy their lunchboxes on the ride. In addition, elements featuring Oh Bear can be found throughout the carriage—including on handrails, doors, and floor paintings—accompanying every passenger on their journey to their destination.
