Situated at Gangbin Historical Park on Anbao Road in Anping, the landscape art piece "The Blessing of the Big Fish" is a large-scale installation artwork measuring 23 meters in length, 10 meters in width, and 8 meters in height. Crafted from stainless steel, it consists of 3,714 welded stainless steel pipes, using not a single screw in its construction. The design concept aims to convey that Taiwan is like a whale floating on the ocean surface — embracing people from all eras unconditionally. The inclusiveness and love of this land of Taiwan are also qualities that those who live here truly deserve.Whether watching the sunset or the sea in the evening, or enjoying the play of light and shadow at night, it offers limitless space for imagination.Step inside the belly of the big fish and look up at the 448 pieces of colored glazed glass pieced together to form a three-dimensional model of Taiwan. Do we all see Taiwan the same way? Communication, rather than confrontation; cooperation, rather than conflict.Only in this way can one rise step by step.Look down at the island of Taiwan, which symbolizes gratitude. Taiwan is like parents who always hope their children will be better than themselves. Reflecting on when we were once children, how should we show gratitude for that nurturing love? Only by understanding gratitude can we have a softer heart. From the mouth of the big fish, you can overlook the harbor area, where the nights always possess a magical power to bring tranquility. In addition to the Gangbin Historical Park landscape art — "The Blessing of the Big Fish," the entire site extends to Lín Mòniáng Park. The floor of the pathway is designed with a historical review of the journey across the seas, which is also a clever touch. On holidays, you can bring your children here to play — let them blow bubbles, fly kites, and ride bicycles. The heartwarming scenes of family fun are some of the best memories one can have for life.
