“Universe Tower” comes to Lukang Up ! First unveiled at the Taoyuan Taiwan Lantern Festival, the Universe Tower wowed audiences with its unique and dazzling light effects. The Taiwan Glass Museum has brought the Universe Tower back to Lukang. After more than two months of intensive work, it has been reassembled and officially lit up on the 7th. From now until the 12th, five “Universe Tower Light Shows” will be held at the Taiwan Glass Museum from 7 to 9 pm each evening, becoming a new nighttime highlight in Lukang.

Lin Jau-Sui, chairman of Taiwan Glass, said the “Universe Tower” is 10.3 meters tall and 22 meters in diameter. It is made up of 2,342 pieces of glass and nearly 10,000 LED bulbs, with an investment of about NT$20 million. With the theme of the universe and stars, the tower is flanked on both sides by two stacked glass structures symbolizing the imagery of twin dragons guarding the platform, presenting a majestic sight that creates a sea of light at night.

Lin Jau-Sui also pointed outthat from now until the 12th, there will be five light shows every evening from 7 to 9 pm, which will complement the light shows of the Glass Temple, and visitors are welcome to come and enjoy them.
