Zhongzhong Sports Park makes good use of the space under the Taiwan Route 74 Zhongzhong Expressway overpass. In addition to the existing basketball courts, badminton courts, and large play equipment, it has added a new "Parent-Child Dream Rolling Field," a free venue for inline skating, balance biking, and cycling, creating a sports facility with a unique local flavor in Changhua. The "Parent-Child Dream Rolling Field" is also one of the fewfree balance bike venuesin central Taiwan, making it perfect for families with kids.

By navigating to "Zhongzhong Sports Park," you’ll first arrive at the basketball court. If your goal is the Parent-Child Dream Rolling Field, it’s recommended to enter from the entrance where Taiwan Route 74 meets Zhangxing Road—it’s faster. There’s quite a distance from the basketball court to the balance biking area.

The facilities under the Zhongzhong overpass are more extensive than expected, with a full range of equipment. There are various types of fitness facilities for adults, making Zhongzhong Sports Park suitable for all ages.

There are two large play structures in the children’s playground.

A particularly unique feature is the Zhongzhong Motorcycle Driving Test Practice Area, which includes the infamous straight section—the ultimate test for motorcycle license candidates. It’s a great place to practice before taking the test.

The skateboarding area—Bao Bao thought it was the balance biking area and kept skating over to check it out.

It’s highly recommended to enter from the Zhangxing Road entrance. There’s free parking right under the overpass, which is convenient but limited in spaces, so come early on weekends.

The Parent-Child Dream Rolling Field is a multi-sport venue suitable for skateboarding, cycling, inline skating, and balance biking. Each day has priority themes for specific sports.

Although it’s afree venue, it’s very well maintained, with smooth asphalt and clear painted markings. It’s a fantastic, uniquely themed sports facility.

Don’t forget to equip your child with protective gear.

The site is divided into two main areas, and because it’s under the bridge, it enjoys natural advantages: shade from the sun and shelter from rain, making it a rare outdoor option even on rainy days.

In recent years, balance biking has become very popular, with even organized competitions, yet free balance biking venues are extremely scarce. This has attracted many young riders to race here, and it’s even more fun when everyone plays together.

The terrain varies greatly—with different slopes, curves, and inclines—that combine challenge with fun. Even I wanted to hop on and race.

It feels like an off-road biking area, with continuous rolling slopes that are incredibly thrilling. Hopefully, more distinctive parks will replace generic facilities, allowing kids to enjoy sports to the fullest.

Distinctive parks in Changhua include Baiguo Mountain, Huayang Park, and Lukang Sports Park, known for their unique slides (like terrazzo slides). But distinctive sports venues like Zhongzhong Sports Park are rare, and its Parent-Child Dream Rolling Field is another excellent spot for family activities.
