Passenger comfort in the skies gets an upgrade again as Emirates launches the world’s first interactive economy class overnight kit featuring augmented reality (AR) technology. Passengers can enjoy fun experiences such as music and games through their personal mobile devices. The thoughtfully designed overnight kit comes in six styles, inspired by the six continents, incorporating unique colors and patterns from regions including Australasia, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Emirates’ new AR economy class overnight kit offers a range of essentials to enhance long-haul flight comfort, including an eye mask, earplugs, a toothbrush and toothpaste set, and socks to keep feet warm. The design of these contents corresponds with the appearance of the overnight kit. The outer pouch is made of waterproof synthetic rubber, allowing passengers to take the kit with them and reuse it. To use the AR feature, passengers simply need to download the Blippar app, scan the overnight kit, and enjoy a variety of entertainment services.

Starting now, Emirates’ AR economy class overnight kits offer a more comfortable and enjoyable flying experience for passengers on select long-haul flights and all ultra-long-haul flights. Additionally, free Wi-Fi is available on all A380 aircraft and some B777 aircraft as well.
