DAY 1: Brown Highway → Luye Gaotai → Chulu Ranch → Tiehua Village
● Brown Highway
Brown Highway is a vast expanse of rice paddies located in Chishang Township, Taitung County. The sweeping fields sway gracefully in the wind, attracting tourists and photography enthusiasts to capture their beauty. It’s also a great place to ride a bicycle and enjoy the rural scenery. The absence of power poles is one of its standout features. In autumn, the golden waves of rice stalks present a view distinct from the lush greens of spring and summer, offering visitors a memorable vision of pastoral countryside.

● Luye Gaotai
Luye Gaotai is situated above a narrow valley where the Central Mountain Range and the Coastal Mountain Range meet. With its expansive terrain and beautiful farmland views, it’s the perfect spot for thrill-seeking travelers to experience paragliding and hot air ballooning. It’s also a renowned paragliding training ground that attracts many paragliding enthusiasts eager to take to the skies.
