Collaborating with Top Emerging Illustrators to Celebrate the Launch of the Online Store
In 2016, Snow Fox partnered with emerging illustrators Liu Jingwei and Chen Ningyue to launch illustrated T-shirts. In addition to being available in physical stores, Snow Fox officially entered the mobile online shopping space. On August 16, the virtual shopping platform went live, along with the launch of the Snow Fox shopping app. Starting August 16, customers who download the Snow Fox app and successfully register as members will receive a NT$300 shopping voucher. Additionally, various Snow Fox products are offered at a 15% discount for single items and 20% off for two items. Moreover, the latest TRAVELON slash-resistant and anti-theft backpacks, as well as products from German outdoor lifestyle brand VAUDE, are also scheduled to go on sale soon.
Liu Jingwei (DEVOURS BACON) is a shining star among Taiwan’s emerging illustrators, quietly creating life through his brush. He has won nine international professional design awards, including the A’Design Award from Belgium, Japanese Illustration Awards, and the German Red Dot Design Award. His artwork is cinematic and humorous, with boundless imagination. For this collaboration, Liu used the concept of "The Little Prince" to depict a wandering Snow Fox traveling from wilderness to city, showcasing his distinctive illustration style and limitless creativity, redefining the traveler’s perspective.
Chen Ningyue (Angela), on the other hand, has a completely different story. Chen suffered a cerebral hemorrhage due to arteriovenous malformation (AVM) and remained unconscious for 48 days before regaining consciousness. This young woman, who had her whole life ahead of her, unexpectedly woke from what she thought was a long dream—where she had a brain hemorrhage, was surrounded by tubes, and lying in a hospital bed. Upon waking, she realized it was all real. Left with weakness in her left leg and trembling in her left hand, she committed to rehabilitation and poured her heart into finishing the dreams she had yet to complete, bringing to life sweet and endearing stories.
