Specifically for Eastern Taiwan transport, from September 15 to 18, an additional 18 numbered local express train services between Shulin and Luodong will be operated, offering discounted fares of NT$100. On September 14, 15, and 18, 6 real-name system services and 8 special Tze-Chiang Limited Express services for returning home will be added on the Eastern Line. Real-name system tickets will be available for online booking starting at 6:00 AM on September 7 for residents with ID numbers U, V, and those registered in Eastern Taiwan before August 1, 2016. Special returning home Tze-Chiang services will have their booking details announced separately by local governments.
Tickets for the Mid-Autumn holiday period will be available for online and phone booking starting midnight on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, and can be reserved up to September 19. Details on additional services, schedules, and times will be posted on the Taiwan Railways website and at all station timetables starting August 19.
