The world is full of wonders, and besides the breathtaking beauty crafted by nature, human ingenuity and creativity often leave us in awe. In Switzerland, there is an outdoor hotel room perched on the Alps at an altitude of about 1,900 meters in the canton of Graubünden, where you can gaze up at the starry Milky Way. The Null Stern Hotel, in collaboration with the art and design team Atelier für Sonderaufgaben, has created the ultimate accommodation experience — no walls, no ceiling, just a bed placed 1,900 meters up in the Swiss mountains, where you fall asleep embracing the mountain views and are completely exposed to the world’s most spectacular scenery. This kind of hotel room is truly a one-of-a-kind existence. The Atelier für Sonderaufgaben team was founded by a pair of Swiss twin brothers, whose works always break free from conventional frameworks, and this room is one of their proudest creations. This hotel has also been ranked among Europe’s 100 best hotels.
