The cherry blossom season is one of Taiwan’s most anticipated floral events. Strolling along pathways blanketed in falling petals and admiring hillsides covered in shades of pink creates a dreamlike scene that’s hard to leave behind. Among the well-known cherry blossom viewing spots in New Taipei City, Tamsui Tianyuan Temple, cherry blossoms have begun to bloom gradually, allowing visitors to enjoy the nearly full bloom of tricolor cherry blossoms in the back garden. However, Yoshino cherry blossoms have not yet flowered. Below are aerial and ground-level photos showing the latest bloom conditions—visitors can take advantage of the holiday to head to Tianyuan Temple and witness the stunning beauty of the cherry blossoms.
