The low-cost carrier Tigerair Taiwan launched its third route to South Korea on the 28th — from Taoyuan to Jeju Island. This new option joins existing services to Daegu and Busan, giving travelers more choices for visiting South Korea. In recent years, capitalizing on the booming travel trend between Taiwan and South Korea, a new route has been opened. Located in the south of South Korea, Jeju Island boasts rich volcanic island geological landscapes and was designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2007. It is not only a favorite vacation destination for international tourists but also a popular filming location for movies, dramas, and TV shows, attracting large numbers of visitors every year.

During the initial flight period from March 28 to June 3, flights will operate every Tuesday and Saturday. The outbound flight is IT654, departing from Taoyuan International Airport at 6:25 AM; the return flight is IT655, departing from Jeju International Airport at 10:30 AM.

From June 4 to October 28, additional flight times on Wednesdays and Fridays will be added, offering travelers even more options. The new flights depart from Taoyuan International Airport at 6:55 AM and return from Jeju International Airport at 11:00 AM, allowing visitors to freely plan and combine various lengths of in-depth trips to Jeju Island.
