Commonly known as "one-zhang red," hollyhocks differ from other areas where flower seas are dominated by cosmos or sunflowers. The 5.5-hectare hollyhock sea, with its impressive height, feels like stepping into a floral forest, leaving visitors truly amazed. April is a great time to enjoy the blooms—make sure to plan your visit.

The cannonball vines planted along Tainan’s garden walls are now in full bloom, their vibrant orange hues catching the eye. If you pass by Provincial Highway 1 or visit Anping’s Lin Mo Niang Park, you’ll be embraced by the avenue of Bauhinia blakeana. These fiery blooms can also be spotted throughout the Sin-yuan Taiwan Sugar Railway Cultural Park and city streets. The striking bougainvillea in front of well-known shops equally captivate passersby, beckoning everyone to stop by for a taste of local delicacies.

Tainan has entered a season of floral abundance. The bald cypress forest at the entrance of Lincuo Ranch is now perfect for viewing, while the hollyhock fields in Xuejia are already 70% in bloom. The Dongshan Service Area also showcases the lively spectacle of hollyhock seas.
