Breathtaking panoramic views of the riverside night scenery at the Fairyland Tribe Landscape Restaurant

During a gathering with a friend’s friend, I heard a recommendation for a great spot to chat over tea with an amazing view — the “Yun Xian Jing You Ran Bu Lu” (Cloud Fairyland Leisure Tribe) located on Xiaogang Mountain.

Entry to Yun Xian Jing is ticketed: adults pay NT$200, children NT$100. The ticket can be used toward drinks or tea brewing equipment.

The venue only offers drinks or tea brewing utensils — no tea leaves (you must bring your own) and no food options. Fortunately, our friend’s friend had warned us, so we came prepared with sunflower seeds, dried cod snacks, and a few cookies to go with our drinks.

After choosing our seats, we couldn’t help but explore the surroundings. The views from Yun Xian Jing are truly spectacular — you can clearly see Agongdian Reservoir and Dagang Mountain. To the south, the distant Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower and urban area come into view, and to the north, even the distant Tainan cityscape is visible. While we were marveling at the sights, the staff mentioned that on particularly clear days, you might even spot Yushan (Jade Mountain)!

Although we visited on an overcast day with occasional light drizzle, Keavy actually loved the rainy weather. With the blazing sun taking a break, the rain cooled the environment and added a romantic atmosphere — it really felt like being in a fairyland. No wonder it’s called Cloud Fairyland~
