The Lina Ferry had just announced the "Su’ao–Ishigaki" trial voyage, with a total of 10 sailings planned, to be operated as one-day round-trip charters every Monday, requiring at least 400 passengers to set sail. Butdue to recent assessments indicating that the minimum number of passengers required could not be reached, the company announced on its official website the cancellation of all 10 trial voyages,and has recently started contacting passengers to process full refunds.

The Lina Ferry’s "Su’ao–Ishigaki" route was originally planned to operate 10 voyages as chartered trips, but all had to be one-day round-trips, and each sailing required at least 400 passengers. The cost per person for a round trip was NT$7,500, which many passengers criticized as too expensive, also pointing out: “Of course it can’t sail with a minimum of 400 passengers.”

The official website has now announced that due to the failure to meet the minimum passenger requirement, the previously planned 10 charter voyages will be cancelled ahead of schedule; passengers who have already registered and paid a deposit will also receive a full refund.
