Dylan (played by Michiel Huisman) is the chief air traffic controller at New York’s JFK Airport, responsible for ensuring all flights take off and land smoothly. One afternoon at 2:22 PM, a strange phenomenon occurs in the sky, and he suddenly experiences flashes of déjà vu that nearly cause two planes to collide, resulting in his suspension for a month.

By chance, Dylan falls in love with Sarah (played by Teresa Palmer), a beautiful woman who works at an art gallery. But from that day on, Dylan begins having recurring dreams about a major shooting incident that took place at New York’s train station at 2:22 PM.
Dylan also discovers that he keeps encountering the same people and events at the exact same times every day. Time seems to be controlling their fates, and he must break the existing rules and patterns to save both his own life and the life of the woman he loves.
