A survey by a Japanese travel website shows that Osaka Universal Studios has surpassed Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea to become the most popular theme park in Japan. In recent years, USJ has adopted an “over-the-top” strategy as its annual approach. Not only are the performances stunning, but even the rides such as roller coasters are thrilling enough to keep capturing the hearts of consumers.

Universal Studios Japan has seen its visitor numbers increase year by year since 2011, and in 2016 it even set a record high of 14.6 million visitors. Although Tokyo Disneyland remains the most visited park in Japan, Universal Studios is rapidly catching up.
