“We hold hands, big and small, go on an outing together, don’t think too much……” Members of Taipei Metro’s trendy group and metro culture ambassadors Maki Cat and the Universiade mascot Brownie, at8June9in the morning, gathered to lead dozens of children to experience the newly launched “Maki Cat Parent-Child Painted Train,” with “The Children’s Theater Troupe” also performing lively dances on-site.

This time, the adorable Maki Cat has made its way to the Children’s New Playground, transforming the metro train into a pink dream world. Fans of Maki Cat can ride this train after 10 a.m. on August 9. The train’s exterior design highlights a pink color scheme, turning a Tamsui-Xinyi Line train into a themed train titled “Maki Cat Takes You on a Joyride at the Children’s New Playground.” Maki Cat rides a ferris wheel, carousel, spinning coffee cup, and other amusement rides while speeding along the Tamsui-Xinyi Line.
