The Global Liveability Index evaluates 140 cities worldwide, using five key criteria: stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure, to determine the most ideal cities for human habitation. Melbourne is a city rich in artistic and cultural atmosphere, with its unique laneways and numerous small bars. Its food culture and nightlife are vibrant, making it a fantastic place to fully enjoy life.

Among Asian cities, the best performers are Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, ranked 13th and 14th globally, followed by Singapore (global rank 35), Hong Kong (global rank 45), South Korea’s Seoul (global rank 58), and Taiwan’s Taipei (global rank 60).
