The "2017 Taipei Riverside Music Festival – Dadaocheng Lover's Day" kicks off this Saturday at Dadaocheng Wharf. Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je and his wife, Patricia Yeh, invite locals and international visitors to enjoy music and watch fireworks. Women’s weightlifting gold medalist Kuo Z^chun, who recently broke a world record at the World University Games, will also appear to share her gold medal glory.

This year’s Lover's Day specially invites Japanese heartthrob Kosuke Fujiwara, Malaysian singer-songwriter Clover Liu, Taiwan’s classic female vocalist Judy Ongg, and the youth-favorite roots reggae band MATZKA, who will take turns performing youth anthems from different generations, aiming to get the crowd hyped to the max. The music and fireworks show from 8:20 PM to 8:30 PM remixes rock and EDM with classic love songs—truly beyond imagination. From 3:00 PM onwards, there will be a riverside cultural and creative market, food truck delicacies, as well as a Dadaocheng nostalgia stall area, family game zone, and interactive booths for everyone to enjoy. The event is packed with highlights.
