In the early morning, Barringtonia racemosa petals flutter down, and many people stroll on the white carpet woven by the fallen blossoms, experiencing a small moment of happiness bestowed by nature. By evening, the flowers hang from the trees, blooming in sequence from top to bottom in cascading strings, resembling a burst of fireworks. Many couples share this beautiful moment. The Zhonghe District Office explains that the Barringtonia racemosa is named for its fruit, which resembles the base of an old chessboard. It is a unique flower species that blooms at sunset and withers at sunrise.
