Chenglin Agarwood Sightseeing & Leisure Farm covers an area of approximately 5.8 hectares and is Asia’s only agarwood ecological park. Outdoors, there is an elegant Japanese garden, a sandbox play area, and the most eye-catching large ecological pond landscape, known as Yunlin’s version of a water-centered scenic spot.

The Japanese Zen-style landscaping is simple and elegant, with over 80 species of trees planted in the garden for visitors to admire. Indoors, there are various exquisitely crafted wooden artworks, including the world’s largest thousand-year-old sacred tree from Alishan, and a two-story-high thousand-year-old agarwood log. It is an eco-friendly, high-quality agarwood ecological park that combines nature and sustainability, and has become a new photography landmark for travelers in Yunlin.

2. Yunlin’s Second Sun Moon Lake — i, Wu Retarding Basin
Yunlin’s “i, Wu Retarding Basin” has recently been hailed by netizens as Taiwan’s second Sun Moon Lake. Although it’s not a well-known location and doesn’t attract large crowds, it boasts lake scenery that rivals that of Sun Moon Lake. The shimmering waters and serene atmosphere are truly captivating.

Kouhu Township in Yunlin was once one of the areas most severely affected by land subsidence. The county government transformed the abandoned farmland affected by seawater intrusion into the i, Wu Retarding Basin. This not only solved the flooding problem but, through the craftsmanship of nature over time, has also become a stunning lake attraction.
