Japan’s WAKUWAKU JAPAN channel will host the “EAT UP JAPAN presented by WAKUWAKU JAPAN” Japanese Food Festival as an in-event exhibition during the “7th Japanese Goods Exhibition” at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi New World in Taipei from October 27 to 29, 2017. The festival will invite several well-known Japanese culinary establishments, allowing food lovers to gather and savor genuine Japanese flavors.

Beyond food, the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association (Central Union of Japanese Brewery Associations) will set up a special area at the Japanese Food Festival to offer tastings and sales of selected Japanese sake. Brewed using Japan’s water, rice, and koji through traditional techniques, Japanese sake is often referred to as the “national drink.” Visitors can experience not only the flavors of sake but also the rich culture behind its production.
