Japanese convenience stores launch Halloween desserts; eye-catching Hello Kitty items spark buzz

Japanese convenience store MINISTOP has recently launched a series of Halloween desserts, including a black cat-themed “Chocolate & Cream” and a ghost-themed “Caramel & Pumpkin” mousse, both of which come with Hello Kitty Halloween-themed pottery, attracting the attention of many young girls.

MINISTOP’s Halloween series desserts went on sale starting October 10 for three consecutive weeks, with those including Hello Kitty pottery going on sale from October 18, priced between 260 and 540 yen.
