Originating in Yurakucho, Chiyoda District, Tokyo, Japan, “MAiSEN Pork Cutlet” was introduced to Taiwan in October 2016 by Jeley International Group. Now marking one year in Taiwan, MAiSEN Pork Cutlet is expressing gratitude for the tremendous support from Taiwanese customers. From October 20 to November 10, all three MAiSEN branches across Taiwan will simultaneously launch an “Anniversary Limited Set” priced at NT$1,020, with a daily limit of 20 sets. This special offer invites everyone to celebrate the 50-year commitment to quality Japanese cuisine with “MAiSEN Pork Cutlet.”

The classic deliciousness of MAiSEN Pork Cutlet – the Japanese Kagoshima-produced black pork “Black no Shokunin,” a breed resulting from the crossbreeding of purebred Berkshire pigs registered by the Japan Pig Registration Association, raised and fattened in the warm climate of Kagoshima Prefecture. Upholding a principle of consistent production from pig breeding to processing, it offers high-quality and highly stable black pork. MAiSEN selects the “tenderloin” and “tenderloin inside” cuts from Kagoshima’s “Black no Shokunin” to make its pork cutlets, featuring tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat rich in fat that dissolves instantly on the tongue, offering an immediate burst of savory juiciness. Additionally, MAiSEN’s takeout tenderloin pork cutlet sandwich – made with carefully selected tenderloin pork cutlet paired with soft bread and a signature tenderloin pork cutlet sandwich sauce in a perfectly balanced combination – has become a long-standing fan favorite.

To celebrate the first anniversary of MAiSEN Pork Cutlet in Taiwan on October 20, 2017, and to show appreciation for the love and support from Taiwanese customers for its consistently high-quality cuisine, all three branches in Taiwan will launch an “Anniversary Limited Set” from October 20 to November 10. The couple’s set includes one portion of MAiSEN’s exclusive Pork Cutlet Trio Set, one portion each of a newly developed premium pork sukiyaki set and shrimp cream korokke in honor of the anniversary, along with two non-alcoholic drinks. Priced at a limited NT$1,020 (original price NT$1,190), with only 20 sets available daily, these offerings combine exclusive classics and innovative flavors to let you experience over half a century of MAiSEN Pork Cutlet’s dedication to deliciousness.

MAiSEN’s most proud exclusive classic draws inspiration from Japanese unagi donburi served three ways. The Pork Cutlet Trio Set thoughtfully serves the cutlet in bite-sized pieces atop white rice sprinkled with seaweed. The trio refers to three ways of eating: First, enjoy the rice with the pork cutlet for a crispy yet tender bite; second, sprinkle green onions, sesame seeds, and mustard sauce over the rice and cutlet, mix well, and enjoy the subtle spiciness of the mustard and green onions stimulating your taste buds alongside the cutlet; third, drizzle with specially prepared Japanese-style broth to turn it into pork cutlet ochazuke (rice with tea), a simple yet deeply satisfying Japanese flavor.

MAiSEN’s high-quality delicious pork has been newly developed, combining the sweet aroma of Japanese soy sauce with long-simmered fresh vegetables. The tender simmered pork is coated with a thick, golden semi-soft boiled egg, served over steaming hot rice, paired with a bite of pork cutlet – offering a comforting, heartwarming feast perfect for the cool early autumn.
